When Lauren and I decided to be Wedding Photographers about three years ago, we knew why we wanted to do it...we wanted to be part of amazing couples' lives on their wedding day and be able to not only provide them with stunning images but more so an unforgettable experience that forges wonderful memories for years and years...much like how Me Ra was for us on ours.
But if you asked me if one of those amazing couples would include my baby sister? I'd probably respond with something like "let's not talk about that!" =)
Fast forward to today July 27th 2010...I'm writing the blog post I never thought I'd write...one that includes my baby sister finally getting engaged.
Love you more than you know M, see you soon....

Hey everyone, just wanted to shoot a quick note out to you guys and let you know that although we haven't blogged as consistently as we've liked, there's a TON of work we're dying to show you and the world.
Looking back at when we started, so much has already changed....from our company name, to our logo, to our website and more especially, our photography. And I'll venture to say that things will continue to change but always for the better (we hope at least right?!=)) But one thing that remains constant in our photography journey is our desire to never stay stagnant...to always push the limits of what we can accomplish and always seek to improve. In other words, ironically speaking, the one thing that remains constant is change.
Needless to say, whoever's out there, thanks for looking and welcome to our journey of photography...there's so much more to come =)

Robbin+Ryan are two of the most gentle and sweetest couples we shot yet. Their humble souls might not think they pulled of their shoot well...but we beg to differ! =)

Location: Orange County
Back story: When I first moved here from New York back in the early 90's (that would put me back in...oooh just before high school), believe it or not, Maybelle was one of the first people that I met. So yeah, you can say that we've known each other for a while =)
That being said...for her to ask us to shoot her wedding, well, needless to say I was honored.
So Maybelle and Edward, we hope you truly enjoy your engagement pictures because we loved shooting every minute of it...(yes even the part where I got attacked by bees!!....the 30 minute hike...the possible rattlesnake bite and cougar attack!! haha). We can't wait to shoot your wedding but in the mean time, here are some of our favorites from your engagement session =)

Guys! I'm really happy with the way all the pictures came out. The shoot was definitely fun and I can't wait to see how the wedding shoot turns out! Gotta say, it was weird doing all the running/frollicking/jumping but those shots are money. Thanks again guys!

Sometimes it just works out to where we don't get to actually meet/see our lovely couples together until the day of their engagement session. But even more rarely do we talk to and even met the mothers of couple! Well, believe it or not, that was the case with Erin+Calvin =)
Did we worry?! NOT AT ALL!! They were awesome so we knew Erin+Calvin wouldn't be any different =) For our shoot, they definitely brought a sense of sophistication with they're awesome sense of style(...Calvin, if you're reading this, i'm still waiting for my email about those shirts!! haha) but it wasn't long for their fun personalities to come out and loosen up for our cameras =)
Erin+Calvin...you guys were great and looked fabulous! We hope you enjoy your engagement pictures and we can't wait to see the fireworks go off on your big day!
