After we shot Sheila and Jerry's esesh over at The Den a few months back, we knew we'd be in for a treat come wedding day. We usually would post the slideshow along with the premiere of their photos but that'll be Part 2 ;)
Let us just say, and I know we said this already before but, SHEILA, YOU LOOKED AMAZING IN YOUR DRESS!

If you've been with us for a while, you know that any as much as we show our "work" (aka weddings etc.) on our blog, we always try to share Haydn's big life moments =) ....and in this case it was her first Halloween costume!! FYI...you can thank Lauren for this one. I wanted to make her a baby zombie but obviously, that didn't work out haha. Instead...for her first Halloween, she was Cleopatra =)
Here are two shots showing more detail of our costume...
Being the smart parents we are, we didn't bring cash so with what we scrounged up in our pockets we came up with a total of $8...just enough for some funnel cake and much needed H20...
Finally before we called it a day, we went to go see the cool hot air balloon. Was it awseome looking? Yes. Did we want to wait in a long line for it? No But was Haydn amazed? Yes she was...
Oh and just in case you were wondering why Haydn wasn't smiling in, oh umm, all the pictures...haha..it's because she just woke up....another smart move by us. =) Don't worry, we'll get it right eventually!

One of the coolest parts of being in our business is meeting the close friends/family of the Bride and Groom and sharing and experiencing the wedding day (or days in some cases) as it unfolds. This was definitely the case with Erin+Justin.
Real quick story about the day...
When we first met these two one of the things we talked about was shooting in Costco. Why? Well, it's a long standing tradition that during any of their friends weddings, they would all make their way to Costco and have a pizza! How cool is that?! Of course, once they said that, our minds went off the creative end and thought of ways to take that even further! =) Long story short, on their wedding day, not only didwe they have a pizza, but with the OK from Assistant Warehouse Manager (thanks Glen!) we had basically free reign to shoot anywhere we wanted!! =) Oh yeah, and as you can tell from the group Costco pic below, the management team loved every minute of it!!!

Typically, we don't do beach shoots because of a few reasons so knowing Mylene+Jesse wanted to do their engagement session at the beach or at least end up at a beach, we were a little nervous nonetheless =) But, all nerves went away once this gorgeous couple showed up, decked out and ready to rock. One look at them and we felt like we were shooting for a JCREW catalog! =) They looked AMAZING!
After some intense research, we found the perfect beach in Laguna Beach and it couldn't have worked out any better....timing, lighting, location, scenery...all of it was perfect! We started at the parking garage and eventually as the sun was setting, we made our way down to the sand.
