One of the things that's always important in our world of photography is to constantly be shooting. Like any craft, instrument or sport, the more you practice or do what you love, the better you get. So as we strolled into the new year without hardly noticing (thanks to Haydn) one of the first things we wanted to do was put together a shoot to start getting our creative juices going again. Come early Feb, thanks to our assistant Christian, we were able to schedule a weekend, find a couple more than willing to be our models, pin down a location and make some cool new friends all at the same time! =) Meet Stephanie and Saxon ...definitely one of the coolest couples we've been blessed to have crossed paths with! We have to admit though, after working with these two, we're totally bummed we won't be shooting their wedding but regardless, we know they're going to look great in their photos =) To Stephanie and Saxon, thanks again for being our models...we had a blast with you guys! Last Chance for the Contest

Celebrating 6 Months and Counting, Our Prego/Lifestyle Shoot AND ONLY 1 Month Left for Our Contest!

Lauren and I got a chance to actually be home this weekend and not only spend some time with family but also close friends too. The weather couldnt've been nicer here in So Cal and well according to Lauren, the only thing that would've made this weekend even more relaxing would've been a pool in our backyard...something to do with weightlessness in water and feeling uber good on her back...but what do i know ;) So for the past few weeks, Lauren and I have been talking about doing a shoot featuring the lovely lady I call my wife (that's Lauren btw) and her newly acquired bodily figure which is all due to our baby =) I've thought long and hard about how to approach this shoot because well, this is my wife we're talking about and if these pics don't turn out favorably in her eyes, and then somehow get posted for the world to see...um, hellooo couch! Hey Guys!!!

The shoot was really fun, but really weird to be on the other side of the camera, by myself at that! But I'm so glad he forced me to do it.

I've been wanting to use my umbrella for a shoot for so long! I've had it almost a year and so glad we did.

And I so didn't know orange was my color! heh. I think preggo shoots are Jp's thing so call or email us if you are interested in a shoot so we can pencil it in! It was so fun... maybe cause it was my husband. :)
